Within these players, there are those who stand out that is considered to be one of the greatest players that ever played basketball. NBA has been around for more than 70 years already only the elite has given the chance to play in the league but among those elites, there are the great ones, but who are they? Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – Kareem played in the league from 1970 to 1989 and he is the leading scorer in NBA history tallying 38,387 points in his playing career. This stat has never been overtaken or nobody even gets close to it in many years already. Kareem played 20 seasons in the NBA and average more than 24 points per game along with 11 rebounds per game. Kareem gives both Bucks and Lakers championship trophies.
