Leeds creative agency Thompson Design were recently commisioned to produce hoardings for the urban village and surrounding area to communicate the process of change that is starting to gather pace.

The hoardings feature three different designs and will appear on billboard sites in Holbeck Urban Village and surrounding communities of Beeston hill and Holbeck. Part of a wider visual and arts strategy designed, the haordings are designed to help bring the area to life and raise awareness of the regeneration programme. Other plans include a pavillion on the site of Tower Works to be used as permanant exhibition space and conference / meeting facility and a fully implemented arts strategy using local and internationally reknowned artists.

The hoardings are expected to appear in the area for a period of one month to coincide with major projects as such as the consultation on public realm projects and the lighting of Tower Works and St Mathews Church.
