Tower Works moves forward

Yorkshire Forward has entered the final stages of selecting a developer for the Tower Works site at Holbeck Urban Village in Leeds.
Negotiations are underway with ISIS, the UK’s leading waterside property developer. It is expected that an agreement for the mixed use development will be finalised by April 2007.
Tower Works, known for its distinctive 19th century Italianate towers, is a landmark on the Leeds skyline. The towers, and the new public square that will be created between them, will form the centrepiece of an exciting waterside mixed-use scheme.
Holbeck Urban Village is Leeds’ flagship regeneration project, which aims to create a vibrant sustainable community on the edge of the city Centre. The Tower Works scheme will set the environmental standard for the wider development programme whilst forming the critical link between the urban village and the city centre.
