
Holbeck Urban Village was showcased at a national regeneration and sustainability conference held at Earls Court in London. The Regenex Conference and Exhibition aims to highlight sustainable practices within regeneration and educate key decision makers about new products and building techniques.
In partnership with developers CTP St James and Isis Waterside Regeneration, the work taking place was highlighted to government officials, regeneration professionals, architects, developers and key investors alike. T
he stand unveiled the new development at Granary Wharf, Tower Works and the Green Building at Round Foundry as well as highlighting the key development principles and sustainable objectives of the project as a whole, including the proposed community energy scheme.
Chris Hilton, Yorkshire Forward Project Leader; Oliver Quarmby, CTP St James Development Executive; and Christopher Breslin, Isis Waterside Regeneration Design and Regeneration Manager spoke at the conference highlighting the pioneering work taking place at Holbeck Urban Village.
As a result of the awareness raised at the event English Partnership visited the completed Round Foundry to find out more about the area and how it can be used as an example for future development across the country.
