Supported by the Holbeck Urban Village and the Neighbourhood Regeneration Teams (South Leeds), Leeds City Council, a public workshop is to be held as part of Architecture Week 2006.
Who’s the best architect in your family? Find out by building a den bigger than yourself.
As part of Architecture Week 06, you will be able to have hands-on fun with all sorts of material to build a structure. At the same time, architects from Allen Tod and Bauman Lyons Architects will be building their own small structures, as well as artist Benedict Phillips.
So who’s den will be the most inviting? Find out on the 18th June when there will also be a chance to talk about local plans for the Holbeck Urban Village.
The event will start at 12pm and finish at 4pm. It will consist of a marquee (20x40ft) in which local families can create their own dens (or small structures) working alongside Scrapstore, in partnership with Leeds Play Network. At the same time and on the same site, three art and architectural agencies will create their own dens as a place of conversation.
