When: 15th November 2006 6.00-8.30pm
The seminars provided by ABDN are focused around business issues facing minority ethnic business owners and those from minority ethnic communities who would be interested in starting their own business.
They take a range of business topics and invite key speakers from the wider business community in the region to talk about how to improve in these areas. Most of the seminars also feature case studies of minority ethnic companies who have had success in this field.
This particular seminar will focus on marketing techniques and how to improve the public image of your company. Andrew Clay, Centre Manager at the Round Foundry Media Centre will be giving a presentation regarding opportunities for creative marketing and media companies in Holbeck. Professor Stephen Parkinson from Leeds Met University will also be talking about business marketing and the legal requirements surrounding marketing.
After the speaker led seminars there will be a buffet and refreshments free of charge and an opportunity to network and discuss possible opportunities with key speakers and support services.
