Living @ Round Foundry
The Round Foundry development is a leading light in sustainability and design excellence.
Since its completion in December 2004 its residential apartments and studios became fully let or owned. On-site parking is neatly tucked away to allow full viewing of its courtyards and free movement between the Round Foundry's growing community of bars, restaurants and cafes.
The Round Foundry was initially developed by CTP St James and has recently been bought by Igloo Regeneration, part of Morley Fund Management Plc. Although Igloo now own this site CTP St James will continue to be the developer for the further two phases of development which include Green Sand Foundry and Dry Sand Foundry
Round Foundry Phase I
So far only phase I of this project has been completed and all of the residential accommodation was fully let within months of completion making it one of the most desirable addresses in Leeds. The residential accommodation is made up of studios, one bedroom apartments and two bedroom apartments. The scheme also includes six affordable homes. All ground floor space is taken with office or commercial uses such as restaurants and cafes with the apartments being built on top of these. The buidlings throughout the first phase are no more than six storeys in height.
