Living @ Emco

Emco have been granted outline planning permission for their site on Globe Road, opposite Tower Works.

They have devised a striking design for a building reminiscent of the Flat Iron building in New York, to be built on the site currently being used for car parking.

The outline planning permission, granted early 2006, is for 414 esidential units, 106,700 sq ft of office space and a further 53,350 sq ft of commercial active uses at the ground floor level.

Paul Nathan-Geary, Director of Emco is excited about delivering the project for the company:

"We've got exciting proposals for Holbeck and we can deliver on our promises"

As this is outline planning permission detailed designs and the exact breakdown of living accommodation is still to follow.
