Removes a no-go area	Although the decision has still not been taken, there is severy expectation that it will be done, as a one-way route into the area from Holbeck.
Resistance to anything which may add through traffic, unless perhaps it releives Water Lane.	It works with the proposed one-way system on Water Lane to reduce through traffic in the urban village.
Improve lighting and appearance for pedestrians.	Yes.
Holbeck people were more interested as it improved links for them into the urban village. The need for improvement of these links was widely commented upon.	Acknowledged.
There was soem disinterest in this proposal possibly by non-car users.	Acknowledged.
