A simple, striking design is preferred.	Agreed.
A bridge that is interesting to watch in motion is also preferred.	Option 5 is likely to be used becuase it is the simplest motion wise and there have been concerns over ease of use on the waterway.
If it is expensive it isn't seen as a priority.	Acknowledged as a comment but the project feel that it will boost connectivity which is a long -term priority for the urban village as a whole.
Open to cyclists and pedestrians? Needs to have a good surface for cyclists.	The river bridge is not open to cyclists although pedestrians and cyclists walk over with their bikes. The canal bridge will follow the same logic.
Walking routes are a high priority.	Agreed.
Location is key.	The bridge is expected to be lower down the canal as it cannot be too close to the lcok.
A bridge through the Dark Arches to Granary Wharf from Aire Street would be welcomed.	The feasibility of thsi has been investigated and it was found to be expensive and unlikely to be completed in the short term. Network Rail will ask that it is considered as part of the railway station's long term development.
