Live Development
At the Round Foundry modern fuses with the vintage to offer businesses a creative community environment in which they can work and prosper in a range of units from serviced managed space to self-contained studio space.
The Round Foundry Media Centre was completed in 2004 and forms a key component of the development. Providing purpose-built serviced office accommodation for up to 50 SMEs and start-up companies in the creative and digital sector, the centre has a hot-house atmosphere. Combining superb IT infrastructure with networking events and professional development seminars the centre has seen many of its clients flourish moving on to larger offices in the area.

The Round Foundry commercial offer includes space within the media centre, either physically or as a virtual client; office availability in the listed Green Sand Foundry, dating back more than 200 years; and office and retail opportunites over a series of cobbled courtyards.

The next phase of proposed development will provide a further 148,686 sq ft of office space in the form of the Green Building, set to be constructed using sustainable development principles. This ambitious new build will cater for alternative forms of energy provisions and is expected to reduce its carbon dioxide output to beat the 1990 Kyoto levels by 52%.
The Green Building will cater mainly for the office market with ground floor leisure provisions such as cafes and restaurants. Until the market recovers and interest in this exciting new development comes forward, Igloo Regeneration have allowed the site to be used for a pop up art+park known locally as Wonderwood.
